FAQ

Asked plainly, answered plainly.

Where is Furlani Fitness located?

Furlani Fitness operates from 157 Ann St in the heart of Brisbane CBD, inside a four-level performance and recovery facility. Online coaching is available regardless of location.

How much does personal training cost?

Weekly memberships range from $97 per week (one 30-minute session) up to $500 per week (five sessions). Ad-hoc session packs are also available, and online coaching starts at $60 per week. Full details are on the pricing page.

Should I choose 30-minute or 45-minute sessions?

It depends on your goal and your time budget. The 30-minute option suits focused fat-loss work and people newer to structured training, where sessions are dense and efficient. The 45-minute option gives the volume needed to pursue muscle gain alongside fat loss. This is settled properly at your consultation.

How often will we train together?

Clients train between one and five times per week, depending on goals, schedule and budget. Most maintain a consistent weekly rhythm; training beyond three sessions per week is arranged by consultation.

Do you offer online coaching?

Yes. Online coaching delivers the same evidence-led practice remotely — programming, nutrition and progress tracking through the Furlani Fitness app, with weekly review. Standard is $60 per week and Premium is $85 per week.

What does coaching actually include?

Assessment first, then execution: measured goal setting, weekly program review and adjustment, training form analysis, squat/bench/deadlift technique correction, personalised warm-up protocols, nutritional analysis with a customised plan, supplement strategy, and posture and mobility work — all managed through the Furlani Fitness app.

Who do you typically work with?

Most clients are busy professionals and business owners in and around Brisbane CBD who want measurable results without wasted time. That said, the practice is built on standards, not job titles — anyone committed to the process is welcome.

What results can I expect?

That depends on your starting point, consistency and goal — which is exactly why everything is measured. Progress is tracked from a recorded baseline and reviewed against it monthly, so you will know precisely what is changing rather than relying on impressions.

How do I get started?

Request a consultation through the contact page — it is complimentary, runs 30–40 minutes, and settles your goals, history, format and weekly schedule before any commitment. Enquiries receive a reply within two business days.

Is there a referral program?

Yes. Guests referred by a current client receive a complimentary consultation and session to experience the coaching first-hand, and clients receive three complimentary sessions when their referral joins.

How does payment work?

Coaching is billed weekly by direct debit through Ezidebit, or by bank transfer. Bitcoin is also accepted. Session packs are purchased up front and booked ad hoc.

How experienced is the coach?

Isaac Furlani is a certified coach who has trained clients one-to-one for 11 years, and holds a 5.0-star Google rating from 52 client reviews. Furlani Fitness is a single-coach private practice — you work with Isaac directly, every session.

How often do I need to train to get results?

Some clients see real results from a single session a week. More frequency brings greater results, faster — but consistency matters more than sheer volume, and the right starting point depends on your goal and your schedule.

How quickly will I lose weight with a personal trainer?

As a general guide, around 500 grams of fat loss per week is realistic and sustainable. If that is not happening, training and nutrition are adjusted straight away — the weekly measurement rhythm exists precisely so nothing drifts unnoticed.

Can I lose stubborn fat?

Stubborn fat usually reflects a mix of hormonal, nutritional and other physiological factors rather than a lack of effort. The approach is to identify and address those underlying contributors, which is where blood work and body-composition data earn their place.

Do I need a gym membership to train with Isaac?

No. Training with Isaac does not require a separate gym membership, and you are welcome to use the recovery facilities — sauna, pool and more — after your session.

Is there parking near the Brisbane CBD studio?

Yes. There is free street parking before 7am, cheaper rates after 4pm, and several secure parking garages within a two-minute walk of 157 Ann St.

Can you help with diet and training while I travel overseas?

Yes — and it is a standard part of coaching, not an added extra. Isaac builds a travel nutrition plan and a hotel-friendly workout around whatever equipment you will have, so momentum holds while you are away.

I find gyms intimidating — will that be a problem?

It is common, and it fades faster than most people expect. The intimidation is largely an illusion of inexperience: you assume everyone around you knows what they are doing, when most people — even the very fit — train with poor form. Once you are taught properly, confidence arrives within weeks. Isaac's quiet benchmark: you are coached well enough that you start noticing who around the gym has bad form.

What are the cancellation, rescheduling and refund policies?

Sessions can be rescheduled with at least 12 hours' notice, subject to calendar space, and cancelled with 24 hours' notice. Pausing — for travel or a heavy fortnight — takes a message. Refunds apply to packs that have not been started and sessions that have not been delivered.
